I saw something the other day I didn't know existed - must have passed me by. The I20n. Looked nice. Deep red colour. Quite an old school hot hatch air about it.I’ve ordered an i30N

They have great reviews. I considered one before the GR86… they sound epic with the active exhaust too. Still haven’t seen one on the road

It's almost as hard to get an i20N as it is a GR86. Became a bit of a saga with the dealer I tested the i30N with. I'd initially gone in asking about the i20N but the salesman who took my details mid week seemed a bit off, as if he assumed I couldn't buy one. I turned up on the Triple which new was half the cost of an i20N. Asked about test drive and they didn't have one but could bring one down from a dealer not far away. Then they didn't know when and it was phone calls back and forth and in the end I felt messed about so never happened. Suspect a salesman was using it as his personal car. Then a few weeks later I happened to be driving passed and recognised one of the salesman. Years previous he'd been at Skoda and helped me buy my Mk2 Fabia vRS. Went in, had a catchup and took the i30N out which I really did like. If it wasn't for really wanting RWD again and the Type-R existing used I'd have probably gone for one.

I was told i20N is a 12-14 month wait, a cancelled order was advertised on one of the members groups and it was allocated within minutes! Great little cars.

Just checked mine again (10.04 order - currently parked in Derby) and it's been pushed out to 14th November now from 17th October.

I had a pre facelift and have missed it massively, the facelift seems to have much stronger performance even stock. Complete left turn compared to the GR but my plan is to get a cheaper RWD sportscar next summer.I’ll be coming out of an i30N into the GR86. You won’t be disappointed
I wonder if somebody were to change their order if they would be allocated that car. Mine just went back 6 weeks according to the devtools tracker. Delivery to final destination was 4-Oct, now 16-Nov. That seems late considering it is due to dock in the UK next week (in theory). Anyone else seen a delay added?

Yup...have a read back a couple of pages, I found out the same on Friday.
My car is also on the boat and I'm expecting it to dock this week. I'm on a much needed holiday next week, and as I've ben counting down the days, I knew that after that, I'd only have 4 weeks or so to go before getting my new car. I was getting excited about very nearly being in the final furlong. Finding out the ETA has been pushed back a month, seemingly arbitrarily, put me in a foul mood all weekend, to be honest.
Got the awful feeling that we'll hear nothing and then at the beginning of October, it will go back another month.
