Keeps telling me i need to be registered, any chance of a screen grab? translated if possibleMultiple emails from dealers to custumers in Europe and phone calls.
I'll try to find some "proof".
The story behind was, that some guy crashed a test car, because VCS was not working as expected, so they added an additional VCS mode.
That has to be approved by authorities and takes time.
This is one of RUMORS, why the cars are held at the ports.

I had already written, several pages earlier, that there were no technically unsolvable problems here, but rather administrative files. Toyota probably ordered from Subaru a little too early, since the certification of the importer Subaru had not yet been completed.
I can't say 100 percent, but I've heard that the GR86s that are already registered still have the Subaru HSN (manufacturer number) and are not Toyotas on paper yet. A few GR86 are also approved on Subaru for pre-audits carried out by the importer Subaru.
The BRZ 2 registered at Subaru D are already certified and could be sold and delivered when the Solterra is available. Subaru D cannot deliver the BRZ 2 vehicles without Solterra's Co2 Super Credit because there is no Co2 budget for the German Subaru market.
Subaru D's original plan was for the Solterra to be launched in July 2022 and in September to see how many were sold so that the corresponding number of BRZ 2s could be put on the market at the end of September. So for GT 2 interested parties as a rough guide; when the Solterra goes on sale, there are still 3-4 months until the first delivery of the BRZ 2. The fact that the BRZ 2 is currently nowhere in the communication channels (HP, dealer info, etc.) at Subaru D is because the Subaru D is now already 2 started the full program for the Solterra premiere and had to cancel it again and again. The BRZ 2 customers don't want to put up with that, even with the Solterra it's a disaster for Subaru customers who are just as happy as Toyota customers who are waiting for their GR 86.
In addition, and this will be exciting for the 2nd batch, Subaru in Japan is currently stuck in all corners (material, corona sick leave, etc.) and they still have to push and work off a fifth of the year's production volume.
I’m the same as you and of the same mindset - mine showed as in Portbury last week (about a week after it went into build!) so my guess is the app is delayed or I was allocated someone’s cancelled order? Mine was on track for 12th November but then strangely my dealer (who has been pretty good tbh) contacted me last week saying there are delays and he will contact Toyota UK again in November for an update. My gut feeling is it will be December/January. If it is January I’m going to try to hold off til March on the new reg -especially as I’ve got another car to use.Just checked the app (no push notification, I was just bored), looks like my car has finally arrived in the UK.

I had been looking forward to this. But now the day has arrived, I'm failing to get excited.
In normal circumstances, I'd be looking forward to perhaps picking the car up within a couple of weeks; but with this knowledge that there's an indeterminate delay with no reason given, I don't know whether I can except to see the car within the next couple of months, or perhaps not until the new year![]()
that is interesting. So there is an admin issue around the CO2 output that needs to be offset by an electric vehicle being launched?Just what i said, allready
but this one from a subaru insider is interesting (google translate):
Apparently the case with the i30N and I’d guess other cars, Hyundai have to sell ten regular or low emission cars to each high emission car apparently. Although Toyota sold 90k+ cars last year in the UK with a large amount being hybrid, 400 GR86’s won’t make a dent in their fleet figures at all.that is interesting. So there is an admin issue around the CO2 output that needs to be offset by an electric vehicle being launched?
Electric cars count as zero emission and count twice...that is interesting. So there is an admin issue around the CO2 output that needs to be offset by an electric vehicle being launched?
That's cool, but even better my car arrived todayThe frame for this turned up yesterday so could put it up. A nice completeness and managed to get it in Electric Blue to match mine whenever it turns up.

Etsy. The original was red but had a chat with the designer to change it. He was really good tbfLove this.
Where did you get it from out of interest? Would love a red one for my office wall.
My thoughts: if yours has just got to “In Transit”, my suspicion is that your ETA is already November, therefore you would not qualify for that “delay” email, as the delay currently suggests that only cars with October ETAs are being delayed, to November. There’s no reason to push yours back to November, as you’re already there.Interestingly, although my app updated to "In Transit" yesterday, I haven't received the push notification/email about it. Was expecting it last night.
Nor have I received the email about the delay that everyone else seems to have got. I wonder if there's issues with their email servers.
