GR86 GR86 Delivery Tracking and Collection thread

Not to panic everyone but my contact at the my dealer emailed me to say my car is due in next Thursday (28th July) apparently!
Aaaaand typically I am heading off on holiday for a week the next day. So probably won't get the car then and have to wait till i'm back.

For reference mine updated from Portbury to Derby maybe 2 weeks ago I would say

How are the early birds rogues?

There was an opportunity - made available by Toyota down to lax webmastering - and 20 or so people took advantage of it.

Seems fair game to me.

Or is it just keyboard warriors with sour grapes who have issue with this !
 
Anyone else ordered at around10:10 and same situation as me , still processing on the MyT app, and no date when checking the chrome inspect 'trick'. Strange that early orders seem to have some kind of update but i've had nothing.. i know what's going to happen, dealer will call and say it ready and then a mad panic to sell current car and sort everything out!

This isn't another moan, just curious really.

oh Swizzle same boat as me. (and i don't mean the one bringing the car over)

I’m a 10:14 order and the same. I’ve emailed Toyota Online for an update, as it’s been 2 months since I’ve heard anything and they told me I’d get monthly updates. Sent it yesterday, no reply yet, let’s see if I get anything other than ‘just keep checking the MyT app’.

I do think it's all meant tongue in cheek on here @badger748 , this place doesn't seem to have the venom of other car forums I'm sure we've all seen/heard about/contributed to. Everyone seems rather pleasant in these parts.

I'd embrace it. I'd go full on rogue. Possibly even scoundrel.

I'll take delivery and look after it for you cos that's the kind of chap I am. Generous. Altruistic. ;)
