Yeah, fair point!

I've climbed back down off my soapbox now and put it back in the garage. :)

I do like to help people see the error of their ways though - it's a free service I provide... ;)

If you check spec through toyota tech the info for Blind spot monitor info looks like
Lane change assistBsm
My MT seems to have the BSM according to vin

@Martin_uk Hi Martin have you had any further updates on your car?

I called Toyota online this morning and they were a bit vague, said it was on Durban Highway, I said yes it docked last Wednesday!

They said the ETA at the dealer is 25th August.

Just trying to work out when to sell my part ex.

I have same issue, I have emailed Toyota on 10/8 but no reply yet. Spoke to dealer who said they can turn around in 72hrs and have 70 cars going out for beginning of September. My tax runs out on old car 31/8 so will probably have to tax again. This is one of the busiest times for dealers with new plate, so will be under pressure

Yes it will be busy for sure.

Just be good if they kept us informed.
 
Hi all, mine left the factory this morning and I'm keen to work out what ship it's on. Apologies if I've missed an obvious way to work this out. I did the Dev tools but just shows vessel, not the specific ship.

you need to ask Toyota Online, they usually reply your email in 1 or 2 days

Hi Martin, mine is at Derby on the tracker and Toyota emailed me with a 73 reg number. It's a Bristol reg WU prefix.

Hi Rich, mine still showing in Transit :-( I mentioned to Toyota that it would be very helpful if customers could get more visibility of cars once they land to help manage expectations. I had also asked for passenger door unlock on key, ASC deactivate and wireless remote window open on key. Dealer said they needed to be asked by Toyota to do? Probably want to be paid extra :-)

I have a private plate, unfortunately not GRZ86 but does start GR73 :)

But this is agreed.

Hopefully you will get yours on 1st September ready for weekend :cool:

Nice mate, with Marine Traffic (best site imo) it'll update location whenever it's near a port or shoreline but out in the Ocean it won't update. Took mine exactly 31 days to get from Japan to Bristol. Mine stopped in Singapore, Egypt for Suez, Spain, and then UK!

This vessel takes a very unusual route and was also in Nagoya for a comparatively short time. Anyway, according to the official schedule it should arrive in Bristol on September 14th.
When the ship is in the ocean you can try this site. It usually provides updates while pretty much all other sites will not show anything without a paid subscription.

And they seem to have good rum on that vessel...

Still no sign of a stock number/build date for mine so I emailed TOL today. Apparently, they should have all vehicle ETAs by the end of September.

That's frustrating. I specced the mudflaps for mine too but no such email (yet).

Did you spec them as part of the initial order online? How far along the process are you?

I specced them during initial order. It is now in Derbyshire.
