GR86 GR86- Cars for sale - General Discussion

Hello.

I think there's some GR86's available new in stock at Listers Toyota Stratford-upon-Avon, cheaper than list, must be registered next month at the latest. They have black, red, grey and silver available no automatics though. Looks like Toyota has dumped the last remaining stock out on the dealer network so for anyone who waited and didn't buy one your laughing!

Just had a call out of the blue from my dealer in Tunbridge Wells offering a test drive this weekend, saying a few cars have ‘become available’. Will go along and see what they’re offering.

Looks like the dealership up the road from me is advertising their Neptune Blue 'demo' on autotrader. This one has a rear wiper and a Thatcham Cat1 Alarm & Immobiliser - well wha' d'ya know, that's a one of a kind fer sure then!
One (ahem) careful female owner who's ragged it like a stolen Nineties supercar for 4000 miles. 😁

If that’s the car I test drove, I’m pretty sure the mileage ain’t 450 either!
I could be wrong of course - maybe the one careful owner was in fact somebody else and it's just a coincidence. I don't trust any of their dealerships as far as I could throw one of their salespersons, especially when they give it the 'ol "scuffs here and there" bulls**t!

I drove the silver one at Newbridge over 6 moths ago and it'd been kerbed already! I'd give any demonstrator a body swerve, they've all been thrashed - I did 😁

My wanting to buy new was based around the fact that demo cars and flipper cars with low mileage will have been extensively thrashed during their few hundred miles of use.

Me too - for three hours straight. However, dropped it off with a good bit more fuel (and super at that) than it was supplied with.

That Orange one looks great just needs a black duckbill. I must try to resist ;)

10th anniversary edition on ebay for 25k  think its an aus one as it only has the paint and interior?

it's a JDM model with the dealer fitted radio, the AUS one's have the same radio fitted as UK cars. Also the photos are from a Japanese auction house.

For it to be sold for £25K it must have made £15K (or less) in the auction, even at 15K with VAT and Import duty that brings the price upto £21.5K without shipping.

The new 40th anniversary auto is (apparently) £21.5k in japan, not unreasonable to think a used lesser model would be in the teens?
