GR86 GR86 Anyone thinking of a roof wrap?

Saw this at SCITP today the roof and side sills were painted a titanium colour to match the alloys , looked very nice and the first time I’d seen a grey , rather than a black roof.

PS The photos don’t do it justice, the red is much deeper than it appears

I haven't found any magnetite / pavements with this treatment yet unfortunately.

Saw this again yesterday and the grey/titanium roof , side sills and alloys look so good together , end up spending a lot of time looking at this every time I see it thinking what would the GR86 look like with a similar colour scheme

Its a consideration, maybe to cover the paint damage from sitting outside for 6+ months before it gets delivered ;-)

I think silver with black pack on the Emira looks pretty nice.

There is a video of Harry Metcalfe at Lotus choosing the colours for his Emira with a designer who explains how a black/dark roof alters the lines of a car, it’s high on my “wish list” ( a dark roof not an Emira)

Agree, the dark roof and lighter body I think makes the whole car look lower and sportier.
As all Harrys vids are, good video he gets into the detail. Would probably be ok with an Emira and a GR86 if pushed
