GR Yaris GR Yaris was the 2nd best selling performance car of 2021 in UK

I can’t believe this. I had no idea so few performance cars were sold in a year. I thought there would be around 10,000 Golf GTIs and 20,000 Cooper S’s. I see way more Abarth 500s than I do GR Yaris, they’re not even on there.

Are people hiding their GRs away or something?

Last time I saw GR randomly in traffic was last July. Then again we have less than 100 in Finland so it is not that common here

If you look at the mileage of most of the GR Yaris for sale, that will give you a clue as to what they are not numerous on the road. That and the fact the other cars mentioned will be sold over many years, unlike the Yaris which looks like most of the UK cars are going to have been sold in 2021.

Because things like the Abarth 500 has had 15 years of sales, golfs even longer.

Yeah, you aren't just seeing 21 plate cars, and from a distance you can't tell.

Although I definitely see more mk8 GTIs than GRs.
