GR Yaris owners track day meet block booking (UK)

UPDATE: Brands Hatch 7th March

Myself and Paul are waiting for a booking code from the owner of Open Track which we should have within a day or two.
In order to claim the discount each driver will need to register with the organisers Open Track, enter the Yaris block booking code and pay.

After much back and forth we have agreed a discounted price for GR owners for the full day of £199, (£249 when booking direct).
Event photo's are also free of charge, professional images from an onsite photographer (@rbpsphotography) are available to download post event.

The price includes free expert in car coaching which you can book on the day and is great if you're a novice (like me!) or want to learn the best line, braking points etc. Many of us have track day experience and no doubt can help too.

Paul has asked to reserve 6 garages in a line which would give adequate space for 18 cars and we'll be asking for circa £10 donation (dependant on numbers) against these on the day if you'd like garage space with direct access to the pitlane. It's an all day event with a one hour lunch break with hot food available in the Kentagon.

Extra drivers are £40 and passengers are £20 for the day.

Open pit lane so an opportunity to do a lot of laps or go out as much or as little as you want. The emphasis is fun and the opportunity to enjoy these extraordinary little cars which were made for this.
 
Did a no because Brands is a pig to get to for me and personally I don't rate it (do it once to tick it off yes, but imho it's overpriced for what it is)

If you plan on arranging something at another circuit in the future then count me and the OH in.

BTW Open Track are great and the free photos are always great quality 👌

Agreed with Deano - Bedford would suit the less confident, but still give the loons a fun day out
 
UPDATE Brands Hatch 7th March:

After the best part of 3 weeks of trying to secure a block booking discount for GR Owners group we have finally been provided with a discount code for a 10% discount.

Anybody looking to book on will need to use 'Yaris-BH' when booking to take advantage of the discount.

I apologise for this not being at the previously advertised rate that we were initially promised but unfortunately the whole process of dealing with Open Track in this instance, for both myself and Paul, has not been a particularly pleasant one - which ended with them not responding to emails before publishing private correspondence on a public forum.

For that reason I wont be attending on the 7th March and will be doing Snetterton on the 24th with Javelin instead.

To anyone still looking to attend Brands on the 7th, enjoy, you'll have a great day, i certainly did.

sorry to hear it’s been such a nightmare booking 😕 but thanks so much for all your work sorting this , so with the 10% how much will the day be? Can we have an update of who’s thinking of attending?
 
Brands is a great Circuit and can be booked through MSV, who are very good. I’d agree with others here that Bedford Autodrome is ideal for a first trackday (or first in a new car), as there’s nothing to hit if you leave the track.

Having been to Brands with Open Track on 7th Feb this year it is a great and very well organised day.
