GR Yaris (Gen 2) GR Yaris Mk2 (MY2024->)

I have the previous circuit mode on my jdm car but have yet to take it to the track to see if the 'anti lag' feature does anything. Flat foot shifting and anti lag being locked to the circuit again is a giant fail otherwise I would have been calling the dealer right now.

Please note that because the GR Yaris/GR Corolla Performance Software “COMPETITION” is intended for competitive use, any malfunctions or problems related to the vehicle's four-wheel drive system after installation are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty . *4

Nice work Toyota over 265k yen for a software update that you can't use on the road and you won't warranty. At that point if the car is seeing that much track use you'd surely just go aftermarket with most things anyway.

Also it doesn't apply to the latest models. I wonder if it's because they've changed the steering rack so they haven't worked out the correct settings for that model?

I wish they would just offer the street part of the software worldwide, it's not much but it would at least give us a bit more to play with, seeing all the cool stuff limited to Japan is a tad frustrating.

Looks like a great solution.

Sadly, getting approval for road use in DE etc. would probably be impossible/inordinately expensive

Hi everyone!
I recently moved back to the UK, and I'm wondering if there is any chance for a mere mortal like me, with no connections whatsoever to Toyota UK, to place an order for a GRY Morizo RR, if and only if it will be available in the UK, of course.
I wrote to Toyota UK, and they just replied by inviting me to subscribe to their newsletter to get all updates about the car.
I guess it's not the main way to get one...
Anyone here so powerful to know whether the Morizo RR will actually come to the UK, and how to get one?
Thanks in advance...

There will be 100 for Japan and 100 for the rest of the world as far as I know, so chances are not great...

I think the lottery system went live today for them on the gr app in Japan. Both the new ogier and morizo are giant disappointments as far as special editions go. Both are just a different colour and I guess morizo gets the new wing. They didn't even give the morizo a proper carbon roof finish and just kept the same vinyl wrap. 9 million yen... The grmn was at least worthwhile.
