Toyota have emailed to say that they have saved me from being financially ruined ha ha. Oh well, hardly lost out tbh and a good excuse to keep mine a while now and add some miles to the embarrassingly low 3000 that it’s currently sat on. Congrats to anyone who was successful for the special editions.
 
No here too. Blimey these cars must be really limited.

Only one forumite so far with a confirmed allocation. That's surprised me.

I wonder how many will actually go through with the deposit before the 10th July seeing as there would have been a lot of people just putting their names in the hat regardless. I think there should have been a request for a refundable deposit in order to enter the ballot, at least in that case it would have filtered out a lot of less serious entries. Oh well. Is what it is a guess.
 
Interestingly but not surprisingly I have 9 second hand ones in my save list on auto trader and 3 have sold today. Looks like people were holding out but have chosen to buy one anyway following todays outcome.
 
I didn't win the ballot either. I only entered with the intention of passing it on to someone here if I had won, since I'm really not a fan of the price or the styling of the new car.

They wouldn’t have time to have bought anything yet as emails only came out after 18:00. They have come down from nearly 200 on sale to 100 since the price was announced, though. Would imagine that number will reduce further now, as many holding out have been unsuccessful.
