GR Yaris (Gen 2) GR Yaris Mk2 (MY2024->)

Everyone here knows Toyota made the most powerfull 3-cilinder in production for the Yaris. However, everyone also knows that Koenigsegg was coming with a 600hp 3-cilinder for the Gemera.

They're not anymore, all orders for the Gemera went for the V8. We still have the most powerful production 3-cilinder in the world!!!

Oh no, just when I was about to order the Gemera to replace my Yaris Cross so I get to the shops quicker. Bummer!

Someone was absolutely sending it on the Nürburgring

Amazing...
What I'm wondering about is whether it's a manual or an auto, and if it's an auto one, was it in D or on manual shifts?
I'd be much curious to see what the auto gear would do in "D" during this kind of skid.

Automatic, also a radiator on the left bumper side, manual doesn't have it, looking at the thumbnail alone.

Not driving like that :D
Mathieu drives most interesting new entusiast cars around in TF in that fashion. But no fancy video productions or funny guest or people admiring themselves in the lens reflections as they speak all the time, none of that, rather just raw driving footage from an obviously talented driver. Driving footage that, to me, always is a joy to watch. And a written report, in French, that you have to read yourself. He does comnent the vids himself, in English also.

The ingredients of some of the best automotive journalism IMHO 😘

Apart from the price bit (and maybe the ride), this reflects very much what evo said about the GR86.

Therefore, can we predict a very high showing for the new GRY in evo Car of the Year, like the GR86 did two years ago (second place and damned near close to winning the whole thing)?

The GR86 was a much bigger upgrade compared to the GT86 than this facelift.
