Hello all
First post so go gentle 🙂- just had a second service done on 2023 model and reported that the engine drain cover was missing.
No mention of this on the video from the Garage , only when I went to collect car.
No idea why it's missing as no one else has been under the car and was wondering what are the chances of said part falling off when driving ?
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas

Do they mean the little access cover in the metal under tray, which gives access to the sump plug? I thought it bolted in, but I guess it could have come loose and fallen off, if no one else has touched it.

But if it's any consolation, I doubt it's important. The first gen didn't even bother with one, they just had a hole in the under tray for access.

Thanks for the replies and I suspect the Garage has lost it but can't prove it. Bit annoying as they want £80 for the part.

That's outrageous - why don't you just cut a bit of thin aluminium plate to appropriate size, drill 3 holes in it and buy some bolts & washers? Nobody's going to see it after all.

The part is SU003-09171. I’ve seen them advertised on US parts sites (imported from Japan) at $12-$19 (MSRP is $28), so I reckon a thorough google could find you one direct from Japan for cheaper? Maybe even message sellers?
The UK dealerships just take the pi$$ with spares pricing.
