Since there's a recall due, when I take it in I'll want to turn on anything that's useful like all doors open when open one door, etc. Do we have a full list of modifications that can be made? And ideally in what sections (Body, etc)

Disabling comfort access has been mentioned before.

I think there's a table with all codeable functions in the manual somewhere.

I thought about this for delivery, it’s on page 380-385.

Don’t know what most of it means, think the useful ones are:

Smart door unlocking
Wireless window remote control

Yup, I wanted this enabled. I'll wait to hear about this recall and have it done then.

I just had my recall done and I asked for this but the service guy said these aren't available and shared a video of the options the software showed him. This is a screenshot

Vaguely annoying that there's a line specifically in the manual that says "Go and see your Toyota dealer to change this setting", and when you do so, they haven't got a clue what you're talking about and you have to go back to an owner's forum to get the information for them :/

Sadly not limited to Toyota. Been to different manufacturers over the years to inquire about cars/test drives/information and many supposed sales staff have been utterly clueless, thankfully there is google.

To be fair, I wasn't expecting the service guy at my dealer to have known instantly, it's really a Subaru at the end of the day, not a Toyota, so settings are different to what they're used to. I took the manual with me, so they could see exactly what I was asking for, as mentioned in the manual, and it took them a while, but they found it in the end, and were very apologetic for the delay. It's frustrating if some dealers aren't going to the same effort though, but we do need to give them some slack for a brand new model, which they're not going to work on many of.
