Same thing happened with the Yaris. Jethro Bovingdon ponced over from doing a video blog in the States (sorry, Top Gear USA), and gave it a really low score after driving it on one road. It would have beaten the M2 CS otherwise. He only likes cars with the engine in the boot, everyone knows that.
Somewhat related, but I'm just watching JayEmms review of the MC20 and he really doesn't seem impressed with how it drives on British roads. I know he's just one man, but when he shows such surprise about how any UK reviewer could rate it so highly, kind of makes you wonder if perhaps the GR should have beat it
Got to say I have watched loads of his reviews, and initially hated his tone, and found his presentation style really dated - like he learned his intonation from 90’s top gear. But he does review a really good variety of mostly interesting cars, and I think his view is at least worth hearing, although I agree @GR86 I don’t necessarily agree with his conclusionsI wouldn’t listen to a word this guy says. Utter crap. Watch his review of the gr Yaris. According to him it will never sell
Still find some of his videos pretty good, but have to admit, I often watch mostly out of habit. He's done a fair amount of the standard Youtuber thing of buying his "dream car" and then selling it a couple of months later when it turns out he's bought a bag of crap, which is a little tiresome.
