OK, so the inevitable happened
Toyota.de finally updated the official website with the new (downgraded) specs: https://www.toyota.de/neuwagen/gr-yaris/spezifikationen
In return for the downgrade in performance (I guess!?), we now get three GRY variants: https://www.toyota.de/neuwagen/gr-yaris#aphgradeselector
1) High Perf
2) Aero Perf
3) High Perf AT
For the record, emissions for the first two variants is 197g/km, but the 3rd variant (High Perf AT) still does 215g/km
But isn't it that the 215g/km put it out of Euro6e, the very reason that the torque figure is -45Nm?
(but how come is there an AT option to begin with..)
0-100km figure (MT/AT) remains unchanged (5.2sec)
This is really sad. So they finally let us have the Aero variant here (which is nice to be fair), but really the older Gen2 is a faster car
Not to mention that in many other countries (non-EU of course), they get to have 300HP and full torque
This is probably too early for anyone here to have a chance of getting a feel of how this minus 45Nm impacts the car
IMHO should also affect the 0-100. Can't be that the lack of 45Nm is neglictible in that respect (not that I really care for standstill sprint capability on this car, but they should put accurate figures at least)
