Nobody of them knows anything.
They are also not interested in getting knowledge.

This was the bit of that post that was most alarming for me. I was pretty sure it should be 5 years +5 for continued dealer servicing...but I just checked and it is indeed only 3 years now. I suppose it's no big deal if you keep servicing it with Toyota, but I always thought that a 5yr/100,000 mile warranty regardless was one of the best selling points.

Tbh it's probably a better deal for customers and for Toyota themselves anyway. They get to keep repeat and new customers via dealer servicing every year and customers get a piece of mind of an extended warranty cover.
You wouldn't save much on servicing cars over 5 years old elswhere in comparison to potential savings from warranty claims and having a car with a FDSH.

It looks like it used to be, then in an odd move dropped it to 3 on 1st June 2021.
Wonder if this includes specialists, I've always taken my car to Abbey Motorsports who have always shown much more competence and care than my local main dealers. I'd to maintain that relationship and take my new car to them!
Looks like the first 3 years you are OK, anything after you are on your own.

Hmm.
I'm not sure that it's unreasonable to have a system whereby people who are employed and paid have access to information to adequately communicate to paying customers.
And many people may not have the time to constantly hunt for information and updates - they may not be 'lazy' or 'unable' at all.

Yup, it's probably the better deal - but I am exactly the same...I've been taking my GT86 to Abbey Motorsports for all servicing and have a good relationship with them. Had nothing but great service, so feel a little bad that I won't be using them anymore. Also, this time, I don't have plans to modify, so can't give them my business to do that. Although I think I would still be inclined to use them for wheel alignment, etc.

That was not meant against your effort in any way. I would have simply replied with the Google thing since it also adds an unspoken "WTF, how is it even possible that you have not heard of this before?!"

That said, if anyone from TGB does actively monitor GR-ZOO.com, Post #128 above should leave her/him/them in no doubt that those of us with confirmed orders for GR86s here in the UK (and, indeed, Europe) are monitoring recent developments in the USA pretty closely and anticipating a response at some point sooner rather than later.

Video of EJ20 boxer engines being assembled, obviously not the same as GR86 but I’m guessing the assembly process is the same. Look carefully and you can see Bender fitting the oil pan

crikey looks like the robots have put to much sealer on
and that oil in the bottom of the sump again didnt look right good
