GR Yaris Dyno losses?

Hi... What's the "general" percentage of transmission/Diff/drivetrain loses on a GR on a dyno?

I know loads of variables but around about %.

The Evo was around 20-22%... I'm sure the yaris is less. But what's the norm?.. 15%?

As high as that? Just had my car in the rollers with another member on here... They did 7% losses. Which is totally wrong surely. Double that!
 
Assuming a circuit pack with LSD's, I'm using a power chart from Litchfield as an example and 18.8% is the losses they recorded.
 
Mine showed 280whp and they said 313bhp which seems a bit odd percentage wise. No front LSD on mine. Happy with 280whp anyways
 
All very subjective IMO, it seems all tuners use different calculations so who knows ??
 
And one other thing, it would appear weight of wheels and width of tyre will also have a bearing on figures.
 
There are too many factors to arrive at a consistent figure when comparing different dynos. Ambient temperature on the day, how tightly the car is strapped onto the rollers, where the wheels sit on the rollers. etc, etc.
 
And how tightly it's strapped down, how much pressure is in the tyres, all the environment variables and correction/calibration factors.

It's all a bit of a fudge as it's not a constant. The run-down drag phase is meant to try and assess this, but at the end it's all subject to the algorithms employed by the dyno manufacturer and the "skill" of the operator as to what the actual plots and numbers come out looking like.

as said too many variables to say one figure. depends on dyno and setup etc.
