Event Drive Limits Events 7/2/22 & 16/2/22

The plate adds 20bhp 😉 great day out. Graham mentioned not many cars can go quicker than our GRs around their circuit, only things such as Caterhams and Lotus 7’s beat it. Quite a few tight turns and stamping on the brakes - my time for future reference was around 1:10.3 - I do still have winters on, wasn’t sure if they’d hold on after warming up (was approx 12 degrees when we did the circuits).

Great to meet new people yesterday and i am sure all those going on the next event will have a great time!

Good to see 12 Yari together and i would almost guess that none were absolutely identical!

Some with lots of mods and others very minor....

I would post my pictures but they are rubbish just like my car cleaning and driving skills!!

The only thing i can do is rack up the miles and cough up for servicing, hope to meet some of you again, i will keep an eye out for more meets now i know where to look!

Had a great day. Second one, will do more, as learning more all the time; but will give others a chance over the next few. Strongly tempted by the 4 car day option, but worried my driving skills wouldn’t survive close scrutiny from Mark!

I've only done a little bit of track stuff so am a novice (not in the Yaris). I wanted to do a day like this to learn a bit about the car. I don't have a preference either way weather-wise as I'll learn something one way or another :)

A mixed bag would be ideal.
 
After my experience I think it’ll be much better if wet, with these cars being so hard to unsettle it made some of the exercises a bit too easy, where I assume RWD cars would give a lot more grief. The first thing we did was put the tyre pressures up in order to reduce grip.
