The standard 18inch GR86/BRZ look great in a dark grey/titanium and IMO much better than black, you can see the separation between wheel and tyre. Changing colour is a cheaper option than buying new alloys

Someone in the states decided to plastidip their wheels silver as they didn't like the black. I think you'll agree they look great contrasting against the black. You can actually pick out the nice design details of the wheel.

Thats it Andy, the nice thing with Plastidip is its a reversible finish, you can remove it without damaging the layer underneath. I don't know how durable the finish is though, there has to be a compromise somewhere. Regardless the person who done those wheels did a bloody good job.

@ZN8 Thanks for the info , I’d never heard of the stuff. The fact that it’s reversible is good. Have you used it yourself

I’ve never seen a set of all black alloys that I through the looked good I‘m sure the oem 18s will look far better in another colour , I’m thinking more a dark silver, titanium or shadow chrome

I've been waiting for someone to do the GR Yaris wheels in silver, and this has confirmed my inking that they would look great in silver. These look fantastic and properly show off the design.

Just found this video I can’t understand why anyone would want to do it on the car when it looks so much easier to just take the wheel off and spray it will away from the car , plus you’re not going to be sparing wheel nuts , centre caps etc
