Hi guys, anyone else thinking of fitting the Verus or Formula Delta deep sumps when released? Any other company’s people know of that have one released or in development?

Would anyone be up for trying to do a group buy for one?

There is also ansix auto and SME, ansix are close to releasing theirs, SME have one already but there are reports of them being difficult to contact and waiting months on end.
I will be up for it but I am thinking formula delta.

Certainly interested 👍. Had my eye on the verus development as they're very reputable.

One thing I'm conscious of though is the first one or two to market might not be the best... There'll be an element of who can release one first (given the need) with these companies so I don't mind waiting a little to see some feedback on them from our folks across the pond.

900brz is a person that has tested both the initial version of the verus and more recently the formula delta. See this video, only one drop

It is like waiting for busses with these. When one will be ready they will all be ready. It is the major mod I have been waiting for before taking my GR86 on track days.

Is the formula delta one the first to market?
Ansix auto is also accepting orders but with this one you need to get their manifolds too. Ansix has posted lots of data of their testing in another forum and the results are really promising there is another but. If you are tracking the car with sticky tires and generating 1.4g then you will still want to run an accusump. Their best results was their sump plus accusump.
Formula delta has not posted near enough data to compare like for like.

Actually it is not sold out (formula delta) . They are opening their pre-orders sale tonight. I am interested in buying one, is there anyone else ready too? I can't offer to buy multiple but if someone is willing to save on shipping costs then I could transfer the money after seeing proof of purchase.

Does accusump sort the issue out by itself or do you need a sump too? Doesn't make any sense to get a new pan if an accusump will do the job by itself.

It does but it involves more parts than just a sump. More parts, more stuff that can fail, there has already been an accusump failure that ended dumping oil in the engine bay, luckily it happened off-road.

Verus Engineering have released two new videos on the development of their oil pan. An overview of the oil pan and one showing the data anaylsis they have undertaken.

Has anyone placed an order for one of these pans (any of them, not just the FD) yet?
Just considering whether to order the FD or Verus option or possible both.

I’m biding my time to see some more widespread feedback on the various options. I like the look of the verus option but caveat being I want to see what headers are compatible as I’ll likely switch to a HKS catted EL header at the same time as I switch out the pan.
