To be auctioned tomorrow with a guide price of £400k - £500k and I wouldn't be surprised to see this selling for more. Other cars from the McRae collection are also going under the hammer.

Delivered to the late Colin McRae MBE in November 1998, this is one of three prototype 22Bs built. Presented in stunning condition, this is surely the ultimate road-going Subaru, now available on the open market for the first time. Arguably the most desirable 22B ever.

Your predictions please, I'll start with £650k excluding fees.

£600k.

Do love a 22B but like the R34 skyline they’re now both mega money and on the lottery list.

Saw this on Harry’s Garage. There’s a few McRae cars up for sale, all likely to fetch very high prices.

Assuming I’m not alone I thinking that went quite cheaply and nowhere near what would have been hoped ? Also the r33 skyline a few lots later looked brill and only 40k, similarly for the Impreza at 27k right after the 22B. Gutted that I’m finally of an age where I could own lots of these types of cars but prices have gone through the roof. The days of under 10 grand are long gone I suppose
