@ravenoluk are looking to do a photoshoot next month specifically with the GR Yaris, either gen1 or gen 2.

Details, numbers required and date are all to be confirmed and also subject to weather!

No doubt some goodies will be available for those who participate.

Only criteria is it's a GR Yaris and doesn't have something like a Castrol rally wrap. :LOL:
 
I'd be up for this, not too far out of the way and always a nice excuse to go for a drive round Elan. Just pretend I'm Scarlet Flare but provide my own sunshine ;)
 
Tempted. Ironically I'm due up near there in Feb as I'm going to a rally school, and was looking at camping round near Elan
 
Hi all,

Thank you to everyone who has gotten in touch regarding this! I do apologise as I did reply earlier but can't seem to find my reply!

The whole premise of the shoot is to tie in the benefits of Ravenol's OEM approvals with the Yaris GR platforms so we can use the assets on our socials, website and anywhere else. The shoot will definitely take place in Elan, likely on the road from Rhayader to Cwmystwyth as it is a lot quieter than the dams and allows me to stage the cars whilst also getting the drone up.

Regarding dates, early and mid-December work well for me - I am flexible with either weekends or weekdays, and that is depended on numbers. Once I know which people prefer I will put together some dates for you all. I'll also make sure to include some goodies and see what I can scavenge from the office!

I can do weekend of 7th, and 14th, days inbetween trickier. Thurs 12th & Fri 13th are a no no due to pre-booked beer activities :)
 
If we set a day as Friday the 13th would that work?
 
Personally, I can't make the 13th, but will keep an eye on the thread in case the date changes.

The no-go dates for me are 12th-13th and 17th-19th 👍

I’m out I’m afraid. Hit a pheasant today which has damaged the car so will not be good for a photoshoot and will need the time to fix.
 
What I'm potentially tempted to do is two dates, I'm 15 mins from Elan Valley so it doesn't bother me too much and it gives me much more content to use!

If we stick with the 13th for now then I can look at some future dates as well that's a bit further in the future so we can have a couple more cars (and perhaps some GR86's if possible as well).

Those who can make the 13th can you let me know please and I'll give a time and location for you!
