GR86 BTCC season finale and unexpected GR86 Meetup

Somewhat out of the blue, the dealer that I collected my GR86 from (Group 1 Toyota Medway), has invited me to take part in BTCC season finale at Brands this weekend. And that includes access to drives, garage, pit-lane etc.

To warm us up we had a chance to meet the drivers and car yesterday, and turns out we had 4 GR86s on site (3 outside and one demo inside).

I’d be happy to post more pictures after event on Sunday, but wanted to give a shout to the dealer that it’s very nice of them to treat “online” customers this way :)

I got the same offer, but I wasn't sure I could make it this weekend, so I had to turn it down. Nice of them to think of us though :)

I envy you guys! My dealer never made contact with me ever again, neither I received any gift when I bought the car 😅
I'll also be at Brands this weekend though :)
 
Same. I get the square root of f all off my dealer. When I had the Skoda new I'd regularly get Goodwood tickets, free bits, discounted team wear. Nothing here.
 
I was there in my Red GR86. Was in the carpark near the start/finish. Was a good day although I had to pay for everything :P

Was it you who let me out of the car park at the end of the day? :) It was a GR86 that was on my right hand side :)
