Installed mine this weekend, an easy job once I realised I needed to use a second spanner to hold the bolt in place whilst threading the nut. Thanks for the guidance @PVGR !

It's an elegant solution and highly functional too! :)
 
Thanks @PVGR - parts arrived and all installed. No more fingermarks all over the boot lid!
