GR Corolla Blitz shift knob for GR86 - also fiting for GR Corolla?

Hi, does anyone know if this Blitz shift knob, originally designed for GR86, does fit the GR Corolla too?

I can't say for sure but I don't think it would. I came close to buying a Morizo edition GR knob from the Corolla for my 86 but I'm sure I read somewhere that the thread was different.

Edit: Looks like I was wrong, appears the thread is the same but there's a difference in the collar length. Looks like a Corolla knob on an 86 would leave a gap, I can only assume an 86 knob on a Corolla might be too long?

Update: It doesn't fit. The diameter of the shift knob is interfering with the reverse lockout of the corolla.

Yes the collar length of the shift knob was too long. The thread should be universal in Toyotas.

In the end I made it work with a lot of inner grinding and cutting a little bit of the collar

Shame it didn't fit out the box! The GR86 is mostly Subaru so uses the same thread and reverse lockout as WRXs for example.
