GR86 Battery charging - anything I need to know...?

Hi All,

As I'm stupid I left my interior light on last night and that, combined with short journeys, etc has flattened my battery.

I jump started it this morning from a spare battery (luckily) and am planning to give it a full charge overnight, by removing the battery and charging it indoors.
Is there anything I need to know before removing the battery?
I know sometimes some cars get a bit funny on reconnection sometimes with security etc...

Can I safely disconnect and be dammned lol ?
Thought good idea to just check with those who know!

Should be fine, undo the neg lead first, cuts down the chance of a short out.

Thank you - thought it wise to check, I remember cars from the 90's when we had to always enter damn radio codes in and you could never find them!
It started fine at lunchtime and I gave it a bit of a run, but will put the battery on the charger overnight.
