Came across this and caught my attention

Wondering if anyone has experiences?

I have so far not found an exhaust that fits my criteria:
- Not too loud (many much too loud)
- No drone
- Nice tone
- Light (many much heavier then OE)
- Value (longevity/£€$)

I like the tone of the HKS Spec LII exhaust and it's not overly loud it seems (never heard one irl though), but ultimately it's too much money for me for a (stainless that will stain) steel exhaust that will rust away in ~5 years here.
This seems to be similar in tone (but even nicer as Ti?), similar money here and being Ti it will hold up better in winters and be more consistent in noise as it doesn't heat up as much. But the above vid is the only I found and noise levels on vid can be wildly deceptive..

PS: I would run it without deleting the OPF (but with HJS cat) so would be quieter then any aussie spec (with or without second cat) GRY.

I have the xforce varex stainless system. It is quite a bit louder than stock but not as noisy as other options I have heard like the All Type. Price is ok. Note is good, I have had quite a few compliments about the sound. It is heavier than stock.

Off throttle and light throttle in quiet mode it is silent. Half throttle plus it gets louder but isn't bad. It does not drone on the highway up to 120kph but will drone if you are low in the rev range, say between 1500 and 2000 and start to lug in a gear. For example I only pick up 6th above 80kph, it will drone at 60. In loud mode it is loud (!) and drones on the highway. In quiet mode I can still hear the car fart through the All Type intake.

I only use loud at the track so bigger cars don't sit on the GR. And it is fun. I can sometimes hear the exhaust over the tyres peeling and begging for forgiveness. I put it in loud one trip north and forgot about it coming home. After an hour it gave me a headache from the droning. Brain didn't kick in until too late to change the mode.

I have no idea how loud the Ti version is but if you pull up the videos of each and play them side by side you probably get a good idea. Xforce are pretty good at customer inquiries so flick them a message and ask how it compares to my system. Be aware though that it may have a tinnier sound, certainly my experience with Ti exhausts on motorbikes is that the sound is a bit thinner and rattly. Could be just those though.

Time again I would probably just delete the resonator and see how that goes and then maybe a pair of mufflers rather than the big drum at the back but I liked the idea of quiet and loud it is just that quiet isn't as quiet as it could be, there is no stealth mode at all.

I would recommend wrapping the exhaust around the diff in any case, start at the back and wind on to the front.

Cheers for the feedback. Yep the Varex is too loud for me, this Ti seems to be quieter? Garage and tunnel needed to lift the note on vid?

I have done the res delete, only with a very hot exhaust and rear seats down I can hear a faint but nice growl from the exhaust (ESE off). Maybe should just keep it at that unless I'm really convinced an exhaust is right for me, I have a history of swapping exhausts and in the end, bit too quiet trumps bit too loud....

I read somewhere (aussie group) the Xforce don't fit well without the front pipe, so kind of discounted them a little based on that... Rather be wrong though.

the exhaust that fits your criteria is the Fujitsubo Authorize-R. Good value for money and does sound OEM+.

X-Force from what i've read is designed in Australia but made in China, and has rather poor fitment. i'm not too sure, i've never had oen.

When I listen to it online, I could sweaar it sounds the same as my res delete (edit: no it doesn't - good headphones key. Could be an alternative esp. with the HJS I have already @DukeGR4). Currently highest on my list now is Invidia Q300 or maybe N2 (which should be quieter with OPF)....

N2 drones according to reviews i've read on the Aussie FB page. Q300 is quiter, maybe same level as the HKS Legamax and Fujitsubo Authorize-R.

I went with the HKS Super Turbo Muffler in the end, it sounds the best out of all if you don't mind the boomy sounds during engine braking. I've since added sound deadening and it's a lot better, but lost the aggressive growl in the process.

The exhaust boom could be a QC issue on Toyota's part, not all cars are the same. Some people report zero rattles or boom even with aftermarket exhaust. I know a guy that sold his Spec L cause it drove him nuts even after doing noise insulation, but another person in a group chat i'm in said it's "just right".

btw have you checked this video of the authorize R? It sounds properly loud to me with GPF delete. From my Air Pods Pro i could also hear the turbo a bit better, which is not present on my HKS.

Anything louder it's gonna annoy you when you have it for more than a few months. so long as it gives a nice tone and volume when you press on the throttle i would say it's a mission success.

Saw that, I wanna keep my OPF, so no go.

Not sure what the situation in Scandinavia is but there is a 12 week delivery in the UK on Fujitsubo AR.
