I’ve just been under the 86 and after putting lanoguard on all visible areas 12 months ago after I picked it up it was good to see no trace of rust or corrosion. Only areas which are starting to look less new are the callipers so I’ll have to have those painted.

Done another dose of lanoguard this morning and it should see it through another year. It’s a daily driver so doesn’t avoid winter or salt.

I'm looking at getting mine protected but cannot find any company near me. Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire.
Any ideas ?

Have done many GR Y

I'm lucky enough not to have to drive it in the seasonal acid bath . Its a car killer - My poor old hack gets that job and its old engine oil and WD40 if im feeling posh .

Took my Yaris into Preserve and Protect for its annual check up today and Mark said that there are 3x GR86s all booked in for next week!

Nothing too scary. As I drove away I could hear a flapping sound from the front of the car, like something was loose. So a quick 180 back to the workshop where the guys stripped the underside and found a piece of masking tape on the rear of the drive shaft. This was flapping against the heat shields and sounded like a playing card in a bicycle spokes. Back on the road again in half an hour.

Aw that’s good to hear! For the Yaris that would’ve been a good way of enhancing the engine noise….
