GR86 A little art project

I’ve been seeing these outline drawings of cars for ages now, having my wife’s co2 laser in the garage I thought I would give it a go.

I took a screen shot of a rendered GR86, drew the details in Procreate and then zappy zappy on the laser to get this, pretty happy with how it turned out, especially as a first attempt!

I will ask my wife is she has the capacity atm - probably be a yes and work out a cost and the size.

I have no idea how her laser works, 3D printing I'm all over but I’ve stayed away from the setup of this!

There’s a whole bunch of colours available, I went for a metallic black but after cutting it and removing the protective film the back was an interesting silver so I’ve flipped it!

Yep! A proper blast from the past - I had tickets to see them in Southampton with Hundred reasons but that was the only show that didn’t get re-scheduled!

I'd be interested. Have 2 walls in my living/games room that this would be ideal for. Different colours would be cool.

Would it be TMI if I said we had a table to strap people down against in front of the laser and a shark pit in the kitchen?

That is very cool. I think it would be nice with separately cut wheels too.

I did try some wheels in the drawing but I preferred it without them in the end.
I also cut the door handle out but decided not to put it on the wall as it got a bit much imo
