Hello guys,

I have a 2026 GR Yaris Gen 2 and I’m planning a performance upgrade around the ARTEC Sport 400 turbo. I’d appreciate your recommendations on the setup below:
ARTEC Sport 400 Turbo
ARTEC Gen 2 Catless Downpipe

For the exhaust im not sure which best fits the car
-Akrapovič Race Line + Evolution Link Pipe
or
-HKS Super Turbo Muffler + OPF Delete Pipe
or
-Milltek SSXTY125 + 3" SSXTY227 OPF Bypass

For intake, il go for Eventuri carbon Intake & Eventuri carbon Turbo Inlet

For the intercooler and oil cooler im not sure whether to go with
airtec stage 3
or
Do88

I Will also add a
-Turbosmart BOV
-DW 1100cc Injectors

For Sparkplugs its either
NGK R2558E Heat Range 9
or
HKS Super Fire Racing Heat Range 9

Finally with an ECUTEK tune

I’m mainly unsure about the exhaust. Which of these will fit perfectly with the ARTEC Gen 2 catless downpipe as a plug-and-play setup without needing any adapters.
Also, both DO88 and AIRTEC seem to be very good options for the intercooler and oil cooler. which one would you recommend?
And for the spark plugs, would you recommend the NGK R2558E or HKS Super Fire Racing Heat Range 9 for this setup?

thanksss

Your exhaust choice assuming they are all 3" diameter is going to be based on how much volume you want essentially.

Intake doesn't really matter too much. its what you want to look at most when you lift the bonnet.

Cooling upgrades depend on use case. Road&Street / Light track & sprints / Competitive track / Quarter mile

I don't know of any active recommendations to change heat range on plugs

I assume stock bottom end based on your parts list and I assume pump fuel not Alcohol. I don't think you will max out the duty of the stock fuel system.

Isn't forged Pistons+rods mandatory at this power level? How do you intend to keep everything in one piece? (Not only the engine but the transmission too!)

Asking with genuine interest because I'd like to build mine similarly. Cheers.

Stay below 300ft/lb of torque at the wheels and make sure you dont use bad fuel.

Mine is

Eventuri intake
Eventuri turbo pipe
HKS boost pipes
Litchfield intercooler (like the DO88)
Weldspeed intake manifold
Hjs sports cat
Akrapovic full exhaust system
Turbo smart plumb back
ECU TEC

That combo works very well and is all quality parts.

My next move would be valve springs and the artec 400. It’s just a question about engine internals for me.

Im on revision 6 with Litchfield. Boost control is done, onto the timing now.

For info the Artec 400 comes with a turbosmart BOV fitted.

It will be mainly for street use and will only be running on normal 98 RON fuel.

so whats your recommendations for the best exhaust setup and cooling system to suit this build?

Artec state that their Gen 2 downpipe is compatible with the OEM exhaust components, so just buy whichever cat back and mid-pipe exhaust will give you the sound you want.
