A little more progress.
A few extra wires and pipes added to the engine bay.
Would have like to add more but it’s just too small to add more.
Happy with the ones I have.

Nice work and agree with the pipes etc - looks like it’s enough to give ‘the effect’. Some nice variation of black tones between the plastic and rubber, etc which I think adds a lot.

Thanks . Often these sorts of techniques are found by accident. I noticed when the paint was thinned you could effectively dry brush the surface to create the affect.

So the kit doesn’t come with the TRD Ducktail and no one makes a resin version so I decided to make my own.

Think it looks fairly like the one on my car.
Now to take the mould and reproduce in resin.

Thanks. I just play around and have a think of how I can come up with a simple solution. Helps having some of the kit to do this type of work.
Im surprised Tamiya haven’t done a Yaris yet.

Bit disappointed that it doesn’t come with the UK style GR badge but hey ho.
