GR Yaris 👎 Negatives - what annoys, disappoints, puzzles and generally irks you about the GR Yaris?

There's not much wrong with this wonderful little car, but there are things that Toyota's not got quite right.

Vent here, and maybe there are solutions?

Windscreen wipers. Obviously, there's one missing at the rear, but the front ones aren't great and leave a smear mark exactly in the wrong place on the windscreen.

It’s not an issue with the car but the intrusive ‘safety’ features which are a result of the legislation. The lane departure assistant in practice can be far from safe. Yanking the steering wheel out of my hand whilst I’m trying to pass a cyclist so that the car is now aiming back at them is just unsafe. Safety features work at their best when they are the least intrusive and work seamlessly in the background. Lane departure is usually an irritation and occasionally a danger, in all sorts of vehicles. I suppose it’ll only get worse with speed restrictors.

Only pure annoyance was indeed that rear view mirror, smack bam right in the field of view for me.
Solved with a digital rearview mirror/dashcam, must say it's amazing how clean the camera stays behind the antenna.

Recess In door card for the drivers arm is probably ok if you are short and or have the seat forward.

With the seat back the recess is in the wrong place and elbow hits the door card

Hill hold doesn’t. (As wife attempted to burn my clutch out... she drives an auto)

Have the container empty because of weight .... only drive when the weather is nice.
