So essentially what this means is that they want a safety inspection without doing anything to the car every 6 months? I wonder how expensive that inspection will be...
I agree, the GRY is more about fun, and it's way easier tot drive a bit like a hooligan (not in a bad way).
And you're correct that any 911 of Boxster/Cayman stands out, while the GRY is nothing special if you don't know.
But, in Belgium the 991.2 generation is the only Porsche generation where...
991.2 actually. Costs about 75% more than the Yaris, but Will keep it's value. It's a manual targa 4. There is 1 other for sale in EU and I got a very good deal on it.
When I ordered the Yaris 991's were still much more expensive than what I paid.
Regarding value of Yaris. There are already...
I essentially cancelled my order because of this (and the fact that delivery takes ages).
I've know bought a Porsche 911 and that needs service once every 2 year.
I decided I will not be continuing my order for a Gen 2.
If anyone here is interested (in Belgium):
manual
fancy white color
red stitching
premium pack without the forged rims.
Available at MSRP and unconfirmed production date in february.
In case of interest, let me know!
I agree that they are almost never used for what they are built for, which is a shame. But they are good if owners would just use them...
But then the same van be said of SUV's :D
The only car i've driven that felt like it would be able to drive all day on track, is a lotus. But that's hardly a...
Most of the supercars are actually track capable. Except for some Aston Martins and the "low-end" Ferrari (California/Portofino) I struggle to find supercars that wouldn't be good on a trackday.
imo there is a difference between a garage queen and a fun car.
I go to work by train, which means I do about 15k km with my daily car.
The GR Yaris will be used just for fun weekend drives, which is maybe 500km a month in summer and maybe 200 in winter. This means in winter this will be an oil...
This is a bit rediculous. A lot of people buy this car as a second or third car, which means you might get oil changes for just a few 100km's.
Compare this to my Boxster (which is still a way higher perfomance car), there it is once every 2 year or 30000km.
Remember everyone complains about the...
Yeah, theoretically they could use gesture control from BMW and than 2 HUD's or something. But using those is WAY harder than touchscreens :P
I also think touchscreens aren't looking great, but it's just impossible to have a car without it.
I liked the small screen in the Porsche 991/718 and the...
Correct.
Small list of features that require a digital dashboard or a ridiculous amount of buttons/gauges :
TPMS
All kinds of temperature monitoring
Phone calls
changing audio settings
satnav/android auto/Apple Car Play
changing language on all those things
personal driving modes
Disabling all...
You forget that that car had about the functionality of a vacuum.
If you would need fysical buttons right now, some youtuber calculated it and you would need 100's of buttons. Remember when people complained about the amount of buttons in a Ford of Mercedes ;).
Think about it the other way. ANY scratch will cause the full car to be repainted and that will be an economic total loss...
I woul be very annoyed if they painted a design like that in stead of vinyl.
Considering the remarks in the reviews that the sound is also different/better, I'm guessing the muffler is different as well (it's also very visible from the rear, I hope they used a less rusty material?)
I'm actually surprised by this. All reviewers say the same thing as well.
And still, nothing drastically changed to the engine, so I guess it's purely software related.
