Registered October 25th 2023 so not yet a year old. A Batch 2 car that cost me £33,400 Mature owner (60)... This car has never been over 5,000 RPM (I know, shoot me) and the mileage is predominantly motorway miles as we made many journeys over to The Christie Hospital for SWMBO's treatment...

I’ve got just over 3,000 miles on the car now and I’ve started to notice a fairly loud clunk from the engine area on startup but only on the initial start from cold.. It sounds like the AC compressor / clutch engaging but it’s louder than any other car I’ve owned.. Has anybody else noticed this?

Popped to Screwfix and realised these cars are far too common.. this the second GR I’ve seen in 3 months 😉

Your new GR86 causes chronic plantar fasciitis which you can only associate with lifting your right leg in at an unnatural angle to avoid kicking the sill when getting in the car 🥹 Bloody agony.. Hopefully it’ll wear off
