Same here. Service all done, SORNed and now packed away on life support. 😂😂

    GR86 Warranty and Service Intervals

I did the opposite. I didn’t want to take the risk with Toyota arguing if anything should happen. My car was registered in 27th Dec so I had the 1st service done at the end of October and that’s where it has stayed since. No salt on the roads at that point and I know the old oil has been changed...

GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Today I had Charlie the service manager and Ben did the service. I’ve actually never seen Fiona. Harry from MK is often on the desk too.

Tbh I have my Corolla serviced there too as well as my missus Aygo. Never had any issues. The lad who serviced it was pretty sound.

3rd year service carried out at Steven Eagell Bedford. Top service as usual. Goes away for the winter at the end of the month so 1st MOT is first thing to get done in March. Roll on spring.

All models Essex service centre recommendations?

GR Centre doesn’t mean they can’t service GR cars. I get my GR86 serviced at Bedford Steven Eagell and they aren’t a GR Centre. The guy who services my car is a trained GR tech though.

I use Steven Eagell in Bedford. Never had a bad service from them. Car is always well looked after too even though they never wash it.

Mine gets used loads in the summer. Usually dry days but not an issue in the rain. It’s the salt I avoid. Look at most cars that are imported from Japan, most very rarely are rusty. The salt is what kills them.

Snap. Thankfully mine won’t ever get used in the winter.

GR86 GR86- Cars for sale - General Discussion

Sorry, going off topic here. Problem with EVs is they are still in the early stages. The tech is evolving everyday so the older cars are pretty much mules for the tech. I have zero interest in them currently as I think there will be a big leap soon in the weight of these batteries. I’m...

GR86 GR86- Cars for sale - General Discussion

I’m pretty sure they will have pretty good depreciation. Anyone who knows proper driving know they are a superb drivers car. As the GR86 doesn’t have all the lane assist and speed limit cr*p on it and is also RWD and manual they will be quite sought after in the future. That’s why mine gets...

GR86 GR86- Cars for sale - General Discussion

You have to go with your heart unfortunately. I’m fortunate to have my GR as a weekend car so it’s going nowhere currently even with petrol prices as they are. Tbh I’m not interested in ay EV at the moment either. I drive a Corolla hybrid daily annd happy with my fuel usage as it is. All my...

    GR Yaris Lotus Elise

Ex 220 Cup owner here. Although I now drive a GR86 and not a Yaris I can wholeheartedly say the Elise is a car you will enjoy if you are true petrolhead. I owned mine from a year old for 5 years and had an absolute blast in it. Totally agree with Rich in regards to visibility for overtaking...

    GR Yaris Car cover

If cost is no option then go for a Specialised Covers one. They do various quality ones so I added the cheapest one on the link. I had a fitted one for my Elise, it was really nice. Unfortunately they didn’t do one for the GR86 and wanted an obscene amount to template the car to make one so I...

GR86 GR86- Cars for sale - General Discussion

I had an Elise Cup for 5 years before the GR86 and it was a fantastic driving experience. Totally unusable for most everyday driving and longer journeys. I couldn’t go away for any longer than 4/5 days because the lack of luggage space. Getting on ferries and the Le Shuutle was a nightmare too...

If anyone ever told me to do this I’d tell them to jog on. HPI is done at the buyers discretion.

GR86 "That's a fresh whip bruv"; or the Toyota GR86 collated feedback thread

I had that at C&M last week. Then went on to ask if it had a 2JZ in it. 🤣🤣
