I have a set of nameless V bars for gr86 for sale. Brand new and never used.
Looking for £200 Ono which will include signed and tracked delivery within the UK.
I’m getting very close to starting my car hunt for a gr86 - probably 6 weeks time - the delay is because I’m getting married in 3 weeks then immediately on honeymoon and I don’t think my soon to be wife will think it’s the best time to look at cars just before the wedding as I’m sure I have...
So first I did sound deadening dotted about the rear cabin, including the rear arch as far as I could and on the rear quarter. I had kilmat off Amazon but you can just use any sound deadening. So I did this stage months ago which made a slight difference but not much as it’s only to deaden...
After much contemplation I decided to sound proof the back of the gr86. I have also changed the Michelins to Goodyear eagle 6. What a transformation. Significantly reduced the road/tyre noise!
Thinking about selling the gr86 again due to the tyre roar from the Michelins. Before I do Does changing them to the Goodyears worth it? Does it change the noise significantly? Thanks!
I have my Toyota gr86 in electric blue for sale.
The car has covered 34,500 miles and is in immaculate condition apart from some usual stone chips though nothing excessive. The wheels are also un-kerbed with Michelin pilot 4 tyres with plenty of tread.
The car has full Toyota service history...
Contemplating selling mine however the car has done 34k miles and not sure what people would be interested at pricing wise. Does £23,500 - £24,000 seem reasonable? It’s a Neptune/electric blue one if that makes a difference…
Returned today from a European road trip to attend a Friends wedding. Went to France, Switzerland and Italy. Photo at lake Thunersee. Ticked over to 32k miles on the way back.
I have found the solution on a recent European roadtrip… move to France! Absolutely minimal noise through France and a lot of Switzerland. However, UK and Italy the road noise was fairly horrendous - even resorted to ear plugs.
Hello,
I’m fairly new to my GR86 having only owned it a couple of weeks. I’ve noticed sometimes on a cold start in the mornings there is a belt squeak for maybe 0.5 to 1 seconds when first fired up?
Just checking if anyone else has noticed this before I mention it to Toyota for when it goes in...
