Perhaps you can share the email address you used so that all interested can write to the same contact point. My car was a cash purchase with GT86 trade-in directly through Toyota UK rather than a dealer.

They should have nipped up the M4 to Fish Bros of Swindon. They're behind the 'Toyota Direct Parts' web site and must have shelves of them as they readily sell their oil & oil/air/cabin package for Β£87 delivered with no problem.
Mine had its first service a fortnight ago and I did mark the filter beforehand because of the rumoured shortage. I worried unnecessarily as I collected it with a new genuine filter in place. I think the risk of reuse and charging for new is too great for garages that have a Toyota franchise.
