Just had an “update” from my dealership saying the car shows as March 23.
I am a 11:00 confirmation stuck in processing so guessing T online have bulk shifted our delivery dates again on their system?
I am 1100, missed the call yesterday so called back today.
I mentioned my dealer has told me the car will be in for mid September and he said there was a small delay 🤣he didn’t want to even give me a year estimate but did say Toyota will be keeping us updated…
I haven’t got any software to do a mock up at the moe but I am thinking of changing mine from pavement grey to a midnight blue with ALOT of purple in it.
I think that would look awesome
That’s definitely my biggest annoyance. 13 weeks after ordering the car and all I have heard is an automated order receipt and an automated message my car is “processing”.
I was pretty sure the 12-15 weeks at order was ambitious, what I did not expect was 12-24 months! At this point it arrives...
Good news!
For my 11:00 order, my dealer emailed me to tell me that it is due for delivery in September!
Then reality set in and I remembered that Toyota can’t even keep the dealerships in the loop as mine is still at the processing stage 🤣😭
Toyota posted today that the 86 will be on show at the festival of speed in a few weeks times.
There’s only tickets for the Thursday and Friday left now and Toyota couldn’t confirm what days the car will be there
Well I guess the guy I spoke to at TUK last week was kind of right when he said I would be contacted in 1-2 weeks….
Not that I have received this new elusive email 🤣
From the first few pics I saw of it I thought there was more purple in it like a midnight blue. Would of gone for that over the Magnatite Grey I went with but still happy with my choice!
I honestly don’t know how it is taking them so long not only to contact everyone but to actually order the cars from Toyota!
Yes they sold out in 90 minutes BUT they expected to sell out within a week so they should have been prepared!
They have allocated 400 cars for the UK which must have been...
How did you even manage it? The landing page for the 86 only went live a few mins before 10 (wasn’t in the menus though) and the links on that page didn’t work for at least another 15!
