As somebody who is 5ft 9, weighs 75kg and very mobile, I cringe every time my larger friends have to get in and out as they have to put the hands either side of doors and sills and all sorts of weird ways to be able to lift their own mass. It's embarrasing really and all I do is look on in...
Same on mine and also on my Kia. I assume it's just a way that they skimp on saving money on an area that doesn't need a proper paint finish as it is never seen.
They check over the car and give you your keys back they are not allowed to leave until payment hits your account. I got a text message with a link to confirm my bank account details and it was paid immediately. I could even see him taking photos of additional small scratches I hadn't mentioned...
I highly recommend Motorway for shifting your car. They offered £1,200 more than Toyota's part ex valuation and £800 more than the closest one I got. Sold in 24 hours and collected a week and a half later.
2018 BMW 118i. Bought in July 2020 for £14,599 at 23k miles and just sold at £13,731 at 36k miles. Like for like spec at 18 months old is now about £23k. Shows how much used cars have gone up in that period. Got lucky it was just before the chip shortage took hold and back when cars depreciated...
We were never in a rush and the longer it took the more we could save up anyway so wasn't too bad having to wait in the end. Definitely helped that the car my wife part ex'd only lost £800 in 3 years of ownership! Toyota's welcome call said we were one of the last orders and likely to be Q1 2024...
Mine is a left hand volume know and the first thing I noticed driving the car yesterday was that it felt like the screen was angled to the passenger. I think it it flush and appears angled away because most cars face the driver but I've got used it in a day already. Very strange there are...
Mine still says order processing and it's sat on my driveway so don't worry about it. Give them a call and they will always have the correct live information.
Mine was only imported in November 2019, is always garaged and used very rarely through winter and seen a handful of rain days in my 2 years of ownership so not a spot of rust on it so far. Plan to keep it that way for as long as possible as so many are rotting away now unfortunately. Only on...
Finally collected!!! A long wait since April 2022. It's my wife's car so not taken it for a spin yet but it looked damn good in my rear view mirror. His and hers Jap toys now. Ignore the shocking red wheels on my DC5, they are my track set with semi slicks. Apologies for rubbish picture quality...
As long as any damage on wheels, scuffs etc is declared and factored in to your price I got offered exactly the estimated figure they gave me. Apparently over 50% of cars go for over this figure.
I got £1,200 more than Toyota's offer through Motorway and about £800 more than the closest part ex I could find so can definitely recommend them. Sold last Friday and collecting this coming Monday. You are not commited to sell until you accept the dealer offer.
Deposit paid yesterday, finance sorted and all booked for 12pm collection Friday although still showing endless rain all weekend annoyingly. So much for summer fun! It's been a long journey. Highly recommend using Motorway to sell your car if you need to. Sold in a day for nearly £1k over the...
I would double check it isn't already registered. Mine already had a 23 plate assigned before it even went to the dealership. I wasn't planning to delay it (collect this Friday) but worth checking with Toyota online.
Give them a call for accurate updates. Mine has said order processing since April last year and still says it now but finally here and collecting Friday. Saw it at the dealership this afternoon.
All booked in for collection Friday lunchtime pending sorting the money side over the phone with Toyota on Monday. It's my wife's car but I still can't wait!
Has anybody sold with Motorway before? Got an offer a good £500 more than any other part ex I've been offered but still no date of handover yet. Tried calling the dealer 5 times in the last two days and been promised a call back and nothing... I don't want to accept and it be collected early...
I'll get on it first thing in the morning. My wife got her 1 series back when cars depreciated normally. July 2020 bought for £14,599 and 3 years on all the part ex prices are £13k-£14k. Not done bad at all!
