Torridon - Inverness today to complete the NC500 loop! The weather wasn’t too bad in the main but unfortunately most of the Bealach Na Ba was shrouded in mist/cloud! Can’t complain given the weather we’ve had most of the trip but I felt for the group of 20+ Z4’s (model shared with the Supra)...

Ullapool - Torridon today, beautiful scenery despite the weather but there was something slightly a mystical driving through Torridon with the drizzle / sun on the skyline. Also spotted this red 86 parked up in Ullapool, don’t think they’re on here but so much for 1 in every 29,000 cars! 😂

Scourie - Ullapool today via Stoer lighthouse and Lochinver. Not quite as sunny but still dry and the roads were relatively quiet to enjoy the car as it was intended.

We’ve been very lucky so far. It is Scotland though so anything could happen in the next few days! 😂

Drove from Inverness - John O’Groats!! Couldn’t have got any luckier with the weather and traffic! Car is so well suited to these roads! 😀

Yes, it does make cleaning it easy and quick. I didn’t have a lot of time so it got a quick snow foam, rinse, washed with a mitt, rinsed and dried. Pleased at how well it’s holding up so far.

Drove down from Edinburgh to MK yesterday meeting a few fellow members at Scotch corner for the remainder of the journey. Headed along to Silverstone this morning with a small group. Enjoyable day until the rain arrived early afternoon but nice to meet a few other 86 owners and put some faces...

Strangely I was thinking earlier it would be good to head out for a drive and catch up at some point soon. I can’t do this weekend unfortunately as I’m heading down to Japfest but would be up for it another weekend. 👍🏼

Went to Macklin Motors Toyota in Hamilton for it’s first service. All good and pleased with the service/facilities as I had booked a waiting appt first thing, all done and dusted in 90 mins. Thanks to other forum members for the recommendation of this dealership, definitely a better experience...
