Mine is on a 9 year service plan which works out at £34.85 pcm. This will cover it for the 10 year warranty. It doesn't include the safety check but does cover MOTs and pick up from my home and delivery. Just booked it in for 4th service and they checked with parts and confirmed correct part...
No good for me. I would put my dog in the boot and set off like an idiot and she would be pinned up against the window like spider man going up the side of a building and then slide down it when I stop - barking out loud "what the f*** happened then".
Not normal or healthy nehaviour.... Boll***s
Three doors from me a chap gets cars and spends a week tarting them up and you see people coming to look at it after he has moved the others out of the way. Ask me and I would tell you that. Another chap a mile up the road does something similar but...
Some people use these cars as daily's so will have average or higher mileage but I think the majority are used as fun second cars which means they will naturally have lower miles.
These cars have only being out about 4 years and most people do see the warranty being really important so will look...
A question to put out there:
As the current pure ICE GR Yaris won't be available after 2030 as hybrids look like getting an extra 5 years or possibly even longer. This means the last orders will need to be taken at end of 2029 to allow for delivery what are the odds of the next GRY being a...
I meant just ICE cars - petrol and diesel. It looks like hybrid will stay till 2035.
"Labour's pledge to reinstate the 2030 ban on new petrol and diesel car sales may now permit hybrid vehicle sales until 2035, offering relief to manufacturers and easing the transition to zero-emission...
I am not against EV as I also have a driveway to charge with Octopus at 7.5p Kwh so would be very cheap to run. I Like the look of the Kia EV3 and is the size of my daily Yaris Cross which is giving me 67 mpg from new.
I do think EV is the future - but that is not right now for everyone...
It is a pitty they aren't for sale here as those extra doors and bigger boot would be better for some people. Although, at Goodwood in July the Toyota person told me they are well down the track to developing the GR Yaris Cross to go along side the Lexus LBX Morizo. Basically the same car but...
When we were hearing about the GT86 coming out how many people said - great, keep it basic and simple - and they did.
How long did it take before it was being knocked because it was too basic up to German cars. Those that bought it loved it appart from the power dip.
David Coultard was asked...
When I bought a CH-R in 2017 they also had the same problem. My cousin who was the Toyota workshop manager joked he had put me a couple asside for when mine goes. Apparently it was a cooling down problem when produced that left a weakness in the corners. A massive number of forum posts covered...
We will also find out in the coming years from insurance companies whether they refuse home insurance if your EV is parked in a garage joined the the property or within a set distance from it. They are also refusing insurance to appartments and buildings that have underground parking for EVs...
I don't expect the new 5 level system will bring prices down over the past 50 level system. It started last month with an 18 month overlap time.
I expect EVs will be hit looking at the 5 criteria that works out the premium / risk:
Performance – this considers factors such as acceleration, top...
Vantage at Leeds have a grey auto MK2 in the showroom. I sat in it and had a good look but i just don't see the extra money in it. I have come to the conclusion that the buyers need to track it and use it seriously to get any benefit out of its new features. As a road car I just don't see the...
Just the post I am looking at.
Just booked the dog in for a week so I can do the NC500 1st week of September next year.
Have watched lots of biker videos and am now ready to start a list of possible hotels around the circuit - anti-clockwise.
How about some of you who have done this drive give...
I suspect these 10 engines have been modified and driven in a way that the vast majority of us won't replicate.
It got me trying to remember other makes of car that have had serious engine problems.
The first I came up with was the ford engine - I believe on their RS ralley version and other eco...
