I agree with ZN8, mine you have to hold for a few seconds to engage, and quick press down to disengage.

They would 100% have to do a recall as that has insurance implications if anything goes wrong.

Funnily enough the red imported one with TRD kit was originally priced at £40k, and has now dropped its price to £32k to shift it. Not sure why they thought anyone would be willing to buy a £40k car and have no warranty.

Could also be the Australian version, more or less paying an extra $5k for the colour.

One thing to point out to those on the second batch. The sensors are audio only and not radar, where it shows you how close you are to the object, like other manufacturers. Although this is where the rear camera comes in. Probably worth pointing that out for those considering spending £700/800...

Sorry to hear that guys. No paint chip on mine luckily, but there is a small indentation from minor contact at some point on passenger side. Personally I would defo try to claim under warranty if mine was bad. If you touch it up with a pen and you’re not happy with it, they won’t cover it...

Yeah, this just about works with the standard plates too. Although, you would need that extra black part on the dealer plates at the bottom “Marshall’s” etc.

For future reference, if anybody cracks their windscreen. Insist on a genuine part from Toyota, part number for manual is M TSU003-G0040. Might take some time to get the okay from your insurance company, but worth it. I believe the biggest delay was them try to spec out and create their own...
