I just got my deposit back for the type r. £47k is just crazy. Im sure it’s a great car and will sell well. I think even the flippers will leave this one at that price 😂 Looking forward to the gr86 which seems even more of a bargain now. Also what a bargain the GR Yaris is

I don’t think any dealer would pay more than rrp. Put it on autotrader for £34,995 and see what happens.

I thought the same about all gr centres having a demo car. After this experience , everything I here about the gr86 is taken with a pinch of salt

My dealerships says all GR centres will have a demo car but it belongs to Toyota uk and they are not allowed to sell it until Toyota say they can or Toyota can recall it back. fOs event is for staff training only, nothing to do with the media

My dealer said the bodywork is still covered and the duckbill comes with its own warranty if fitted by them

You should have kept your deposit on a type r. Buy the gr86 and if the type r is around £40k put what ever you make on the gr86 towards it. Probably make £4-5k on the gr86

looks like top gear are aware of the issues. Shame it missed out on top gear speed week. Toyota marketing pretty useless to miss this

I wouldn’t be surprised if the newer cars that have just been built and shipped don’t have the brake issue and will be delivered before the older ones that are sat around awaiting for the recall. Hence why the dates are all over the place

I think the 10+ drivers that have moved /driven your car before you would have already tested the full rev range😂

I think the exhaust looks great. I also like the exhaust on the Type r fk8 and the new type r Just been watching the review on throttlehouse. Pretty quick 👍

We are talking about the gr Yaris not the gr86. Think wires have been crossed 😂

There is no problem toyota making this for the European market for a few more years yet if they choose to. Think your confused with the gr86 being built only for 2 years.

I did 6500 miles in mine before selling and never got use to the seat height. I believe there are a few kits around that can lower the seats now. Probably worth looking into or you might adjust to it. Apart from that great fun to drive. It’s a good time of year to have 4wd.
