I have sent an email to DBA direct to see if they would look into supplying the 40mm versions of the Brembo calipers. They obviously have someone who is making the WRX STi versions so how much harder would it be to make 40mm versions? Also surely the GT86 market would be greater than that of WRX...

Yeah they got back to me and said they do not do them. Maybe I will contact DBA direct. It shouldn't be hard for them considering the Impreza ones are exactly the same bar piston sizes. I would expect they would get a lot of business their way.

I think a lot on here would be more than happy to have a rev hang and throttle remap more than any performance. I think it would sell well. I know the latest revision of JDM cars have had this done.

I have contacted the various eBay outlets of those cheap STi Brembo knock offs to see if they can source 40mm versions as the ones they list are the staggered pistons type for the Impreza. Most likely will say no but you never know.

Simply invoice on the first service to have the sump removed and cleaned because of concerns. Then it is all on paper and tracked to Toyota. First service get Toyota tech to quote and complete a sump drop and clean. After do your own mods. If engine blows up return to stock. 4d chess :)

Just swap back the standard sump if that ever happens ;)
