I have had the dreaded scratchy plastic which is inevitable especially when you are 6ft3" trying to fit in and your wife couldn't give a dam either :p.

I have purchased both of these to help keep the interior looking tidy.



The centre console bit has gone on a treat although I had to be careful to get it straight.

The door card ones however are a lot larger and has anyone had any experience or can offer any tips on how to apply them? Maybe wetting the door card first?

If it was me I would have the door card off and have it laid flat on a kitchen table or something, is the adhesive backing ok with water? If it is it would definitely make it easier if your spritz some water on it. I have one of these which helps applying vinyl, I'm sure it would be fine on alcanatara type materials.

Be sure to share some photos once you have them installed! I have the tendancy to scuff the plastics so might get these too.
 
I am interested too.. and have tried to order them. But the aliexpress site seems to have a login issue at the moment.
 
A bit fiddly around the speakers but they fit well. Just did it dry and was easy to peel off and re-apply if a bit wonky. Colour match is spot on with the alcantara bits on the top of cards. At least now those bits will be easy to clean instead of getting scratches. Might do something about the door card centres but not too sure at the moment.

Interior needs a good old clean though!

How long did they take to arrive, Adam? I'm on holiday at the moment but would like something to cover that bit of the centre console, so might order it now and hope it arrives just after I get home. It's quite prone to getting scratched, especially when I have one of the dogs in the car. They have a tendency to lay one the front seat with a paw on that spot.

Also, how much are they in GBP? I'm in SA at the moment without a VPN and they are showing as R285 which works it about 11 quid delivered. Bargain!

Yeah both super cheap. You pay more for a Big Mac these days. Both arrived in around a week. If you don't like them then it is no loss. Door cards are also available in a leather or carbon finish if that is your thing.

They also do a B pillar which I might get also then that is pretty much all the "high traffic" area's covered.

Yes that's them. Supplied as a pair.

Pretty easy to fit. Take the A pillar trims off. Line up the stickers, ensuring there is an even overlap all around which folds round on to the back of the trim. If it goes wrong, assuming it's not pressed on too hard, the stickers can be taken off an repositioned.

RE the question about delivery time. I ordered on Friday evening last week (so midnight'ish in China). I got a "despatched" email on Sunday and they have arrived today! I was not expecting them to be here in time for the weekend. Result!

You can also get bits that fit in the bottom of the cup holder, door panel pockets, and centre storage area. These are in my basket to bring back to the UK. All prices are in THB but ship from China.

Sticker for the centre console switch panel arrived today. Fitted it, but tbh the jury's still out at the moment.

The fit isn't perfect, although that could be user error. Did my best to line it up and hold one side with masking tape before taking off the backing, but it's a bit fiddly. Also, the colour doesn't really match the rest of the suede (compared against the door cards). Perhaps not a big issue as it's not directly next to any other suede trim. I spose for £11 quid I can't complain too much.

Nevermind. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'll leave it for now as it will at least protect the plastic. If I don't like it, it feels like it should be fairly easy to peel off.

I have the same. I agree, its a shame the colour match isn't just a bit closer.
 
You can peel it off and reapply. It is quite forgiving. I peeled off the entire door car as it just didn't sit right and did it again.
 
Mine came yesterday. It's not a good enough match for me but I know Ross bought a roll off Amazon that's nice so I'll use these as templates. Once I'm done I can send them on to someone who wants them
