Since we currently have the turbo out due to a failure, I’m taking the opportunity to install a larger radiator as well as the Airtec auxiliary water cooler for the turbo.
As we already run the Airtec auxiliary water cooler on the passenger side and their intercooler—both of which we’ve had very good experiences with—I’m expecting these upgrades to provide another step forward in performance.
I always prefer to make changes one step at a time so I can clearly determine whether a new modification actually delivers an improvement. The parts have been sitting here since the beginning of the year…
And since I simply refuse to remove the air conditioning for a little extra performance, we’ll have to improve the cooling capacity of the system in other ways.
Let’s see what difference it makes.
