GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

The suns out  Woo-Hoo :giggle:Up early to give the car a well deserved wash & brush-up (Forecast is for snow tomorrow ). Even treated the cross climates to some dressing - only another 6 weeks or so before I can think about putting the 18" back on

Been driving it the last 3 weeks without worrying about it getting dirty. Helps a lot to the driveability if you do drive it regularly. Have no real issues now apart from the odd jerkiness in 2nd but convinced that's throttle map. Went a few places with Mika. He much prefers this over the Swift. The only annoyance is the shift up indicator is too keen and that it exists in Track mode is really annoying. Been looking at getting that GRZ Mod box so I can turn that shift indicator off and customise the dash so I can go to Track mode but keep the normal dash.

If you are on about the arrow showing when to shift up for fuel economy, you can disable that by unpluging the clutch sensor at the pedal end. That will also disable the gear indicator too however.

That's good to know although it may also impact the cruise control by not disengaging when the clutch pedal is pressed.

Whilst the weather was nice today I sanded out the poorly painted wheel centres on the OEM wheels, applied touch-up, installed new Toyota centre caps and gave everything a clean ready for Spring. I'm now wondering if I should remove the Bola Summer wheels ('Monaco Copper' colour with GdYr F1 Eagle Asy6) and put the OEM A/S set back on ('Black Copper' with GdYr Vector 4-Seasons) as I quite like the slightly darker look ... Oh decisions, decisions ...

Removed the green / plant life from the window rubbers, found some under the rear window water slide (base lhs and fhs)- deployed cotton buds and a bit of soapy water.

Dorsetโ€™s had 48 days rain in 56 days ๐Ÿ™ƒ

What did you use to remove the green?

Do you have a leak? Mine seems to fog up a hell of a lot for a car that onlt has its doors opened on dry days!

Got myself a bright red engine cover from my favourite Chinese market place. The next โ€˜criticalโ€™ decision is where to place the nice shiny GR badge I got at the same time; Top or Centre?
