GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Year 3 service completed at Toyota dealer <shock> All good, no problems. Only thing I need to look at, it doesn't say what grade of oil was put in, only Syntium 7000 Hybrid
(Edit - which I've looked online is 0W-20)
(Edit 2- almost forgot, about 30 mins in and I got a call to ask if I wanted them to fit the oil filter that I had left in the passenger footwell ! I had to explain that was in case they'd forgotten to order the part. It's gone back in my garage)

Yesterday I gave it a clean. First one since last November. Been using it since end of Jan as I had garage windows and doors done along with scaffolding out of new soffits and gutters so car couldn't stay home. Garage will be re-rendered soon too once I get some quotes. Still comes up well for a 3yr old car. Will be driving it a lot this year if all goes well. Also paid it off so it's all mine.

In for 3 year service and 1st MOT this week.
Only 2800 miles I’m ashamed to say🙈 Have made a promise to myself to use it more this year. Love the car to bits, but tend to be a bit annal about keeping her clean😉🤣🤣🤣😎

I had a Carcoon for my Elise to keep the condensation off it. Worked well. Great bit of kit. I sold with the car so didn’t bother with the GR because they are built more like a normal everyday car in regards to corrosion protection.

Finally someone on here that's more 'precious' than me. Take my crown and wear it with pride Sir! I've had to pay to keep my GR86 in dehumidified storage over the Winter. Yours would be my dream 'man-space', but alas ours is but a small single affair and filled with shyte since we moved in ... 27 years ago.

With one car carcooned in the garage already, I’m using an ‘inthegarage’ outdoor bubble on the drive for the GR86 this winter. Used it when I first bought the car but couldn’t drive it for a few months.
Looking forward to 1 March when it'll be de-SORNed.

Time well spent, they look great. 👏🏻

Could I ask, what colour are your wheels? I’m looking to get mine done this year and that colour really shows off the details of the wheels that the black hides sadly.

I seem to recall a mention in the past by @Nigel L of ‘smoked chrome’?
Indeed, they are smoked chrome. I originally thought about Black Chrome, but felt that would have been a little to dark👍
I kept my original wheels as spares, as managed to get hold of a set from someone who was changing their wheel design, and they do look quite dull and dowdy when next to the smoked chromes👍
