As @Onehp says vary load and rpm. wait for oil to be fully warmed, I tried to avoid any length of time at max load but I went to redline a couple of times. I guess what I’m saying is don’t worry about the 4,000rpm “limit”

Check your oil level as well. I suspect the drive would have to be pretty steeply sloped to cause the oil to move away from the pick up. Do you get this on start up or driving?
