Mileage is also recorded on the app so I guess there will be some discrepancy between the 2.
Given how long it took for the ecu to be cracked I reckon it’s quite difficult.
Best time of the year to do it, less traffic/ caravans.
Would love to do it in a GR86. I reckon it would be a fun but totally different drive to the GR Yaris (certainly grip wise).
Interesting view of the boost gauge. Regularly hitting 1.6 and 1.8 was the highest I seen.
Seems to hold the boost slightly longer too compared to MK1.
Also the auto was boosting within normal limits, nowhere near the manual. I reckon the manual was slightly tuned.
Hats off to the Toyota driver. Done his job perfectly to keep the natural order!
Would've been a real talking point if there was some sort of upset.
However it's possible he gave 100% on each car and that's just how it is.
But IMO he could of launched them all more aggressively .
Had to be you pal with your unique red wrap? If not, someone else is copying you!
You wouldn't have seen me with that horrendous low sun in front of you at that time.
I made an enquiry to a local remap specialist who is also an ECUTEK master tech. He won't do a GR Yaris yet as it’s still in an early phase.
Hats off to you lot who are getting this done and basically helping further develop it.
Think I'll wait a bit longer. Tbh it's plenty quick enough for...
I've had my car remapped and now have it put back to stock.
I can honestly say that down my favourite road I'm just as quick in stock form.
Tried it tuned, it pulls superbly, but it's absolutely fine in stock form.
Due to the lack of supply of PS4S, I've gone for Sport Contact 7's as recommended by others on here .
Absolutely superb tyre which really suits the GR and imo a better tyre.
This will be my go to tyre from now, even if PS4S 's become readily available again.
4 purchased from Black Circles...
I've got PPF and ceramic coating on mine.
I presume the ceramic was always on top to make it easier to wash.
Actually have no idea if it was applied before or after.
What I can say though is it's definitely kept the front end chip free after 39k miles, especially when you see the front...
